What is an Alfa Instant Account?

Instant Merchant Account has the following features.

  • Instant Account Creation
  • Ideal for small and medium businesses
  • Applicable to Individual and Sole proprietors
  • PKR 500,000 monthly volume processing limit upon BVS
  • International Debit & Credit Cards are not live by default

What is an Alfa Corporate Merchant Account?

Alfa Merchant Account has the following features.

  • Standard documentation process
  • Account creation takes a few weeks
  • Ideal for enterprises
  • Applicable to registered entities
  • No limits on volume processing
  • International Debit & Credit Cards are activated by default

How long does it take to get an Alfa Instant Account approved and working?

It takes 24 working hours to get approved.

Alfa Instant Account Limit for 500,000 is on a calendar month basis or 30-day basis?

It is on a calendar month basis

Can an instant and a merchant account be created on the SAME NIC/Phone?

No, you cannot have multiple accounts on the same NIC but Builders can have multiple stores within an account. Please contact our help desk through live chat for more information on this.

What is the conversion process from an instant to a merchant account?

Builders have to visit the Bank Alfalah Branch, and open a business account. Once the account is opened, let the APG Business manager know. The Builder has to submit a written request on Company’s letterhead. Please contact our help desk through live chat for more information on this

How to activate International card payments on an instant account?

Merchants have to discuss with the business manager after the profile is submitted

What if a merchant already has a BAF wallet opened?

The Builder has to discuss it with the business manager as on a CNIC only 1 instant account can be created. Please contact our help desk through live chat for more information on this.

How long does it take to get a Merchant account approved and working after documents are sent?

Fill out the merchant application form, signup for a merchant business account with business and personal information. Add blank files and submit them. Then 48 hours for approval. Make sure our business manager knows

What documents are required for a Corporate Merchant account?

On the merchant account are international card payments activated by default?

Yes, International cards are activated by default.

What are the charges of the Merchant account?

Standard branch banking charges are applicable to the bank account and APG MDR charges are applicable.

If a Builder already has a BAF corporate account, how do they create an account on Alfa?

Builder is required to Signup as a Corporate Account holder on the Bank AlFalah APG portal. Once an account is created, contact our help desk through live chat for integration.
