Now our builders can enable PIM to sell their products on bSecure app by creating a Shopify custom app.
Step by Step Guide to - Shopify PIM
Step 1
Go to "Manage stores" on your builder portal and click on the “Edit store” button for the store that is integrated with Shopify.
Step 2
Select the “Shopify Payment Gateway” option from the integration type drop-down menu.
Step 3
Now type your Shopify Store URL
for example “https://bsecure-test.myshopify.com/”
Step 4
Now click on “Additional Store Settings” and enable the “Shopify PIM” toggle.
Step 5
Now you need to generate the “API key and password”
for that follow these steps:
- Goto your Shopify admin panel and click on “Apps”.
- Click on “Develop Apps”.
- Click on the “Create an app” button
- Now type “bSecure full checkout and PIM” in app name.
- Now click on the “Configuration tab”
- Click on “Admin API integration”
- Now give the following permissions accordingly.
Configuration/Permissions for Admin API Integration:
1.) Customer → Write and Read
2.) Discount → Write and Read
3.) Draft Orders → Write and Read
4.) Order Editing → Write and Read
5.) Orders → Write and Read
6.) Products Listing → Write and Read
7.) Products → Write and Read
8.) Script Tags → Write and Read
- Now click on the “Save” button.
- Now go back to the “Configuration” tab and click on “Storefront API integration”
- Now give the following permissions accordingly.
Configuration/Permissions for Storefront API integration:
Products → unauthenticated_read_product_listings
- Now click on the “Save” button.
- Now click on “API credentials” and click on “Install App”

Now you will land on this page and then you have to copy “Admin API access token” and “API key”
Step 7
Now paste these credentials in your bSecure portal “Additional Store Settings”
API Key (Shopify Api credentials) → API Key (bSecure store settings)
Admin API access token (Shopify Api credentials) → Password (bSecure store settings)
Now click on the “Update Store” button.
Step 8
Now go to the “Manage Products” and click on the “Actions” drop-down menu.
Now click on the “Sync PIM Products” option from the drop-down.
Step 9
Once product syncing is started, you’ll see this notification on top of the page.
The product syncing will take some time depending upon the number of products that you have in your Shopify store (Might take up to one hour if you have a large number of products).
Once all your Shopify store products are visible in the product list in the portal, Click the “Publish Catalog” button.
